Accessibility Statement
Last updated: April 21, 2026
Mawal AB, operating Web Presenter, is committed to making its website and service accessible to people with disabilities, in accordance with the European Accessibility Act (Directive (EU) 2019/882) and its Swedish implementation (lag (2023:254) om vissa produkters och tjänsters tillgänglighet).
Conformance status
Web Presenter aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at conformance level AA. The service is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons:
- Motion-based input. The core pointer, swipe, and drawing features rely on moving a phone in physical space. Users who cannot perform device-motion gestures cannot operate the service as intended. No alternative input method is provided today.
- Camera-based pairing.Pairing is primarily driven by scanning a QR code with the phone's camera. A text-based session code is available as a fallback on every pairing screen.
- Real-time on-screen overlays. The pointer dot, spotlight, and magnifier are rendered as transient visual overlays on top of the active window. These visual cues do not have non-visual equivalents.
- Browser extension UI.Parts of the desktop browser extension inherit the host browser's chrome and have not yet been audited for WCAG 2.2 AA conformance.
We are working to remediate these issues as the product evolves and will update this statement as new features are released.
